The 2026 Wild About Devon Awards are now open! We’re pleased to have the opportunity once again to celebrate some of the fantastic work of groups and individuals across Devon supporting community action for nature. Nominations close at 23:59 on Sunday 18th October 2026.
Award Categories
There are four award categories:
- Wildlife Community Group of the Year (e.g. a local volunteer group, school, charity, Scout or Guide group, church group, or other similar organisation)
- Wildlife Parish & Town Council of the Year
- Outstanding Individual Award
- Young Person Award (25 and under)

Judging Criteria
We are looking for projects, schemes or initiatives that within the last year have…
- Taken steps to improve the wildlife value of an area, and;
- Engaged their community
You are welcome to submit a nomination for groups or individuals who have previously won this award, but you must emphasise what they have achieved specifically during 2026.
Submitting
You can make a nomination anytime until 23:59 on Sunday 18th October 2026 for your nominee to be in with a chance of winning.
You can nominate yourself (or yourselves) or you can nominate others. If you would like to remain anonymous when nominating others, please select this option in the form.
You may make more than one nomination if you would like to submit in different categories, just select ‘Submit another response’ after this form has been completed.
