Exmoor Non-Native Invasive Species Project – Film Premier and Update webinar

The Exmoor Non-Native Invasive Species (ENNIS) project team joined us for a Wild About Devon community wildlife webinar for their exclusive premier of their new short film. Watch the webinar below, or on YouTube.

They also gave an update on their work mapping and controlling invasive species within the National Park. We heard about several aspects of their project including their innovative approaches to control trialling: the sterilisation and return of male signal crayfish on the River Barle and Rootwave Pro technology, a method for treating invasive plants using electricity. After the premier there was a Q & A session and special guest Gemma Gilbert, who produced the film, joined a panel to answer your questions.
