Teignbridge Wildlife Wardens: This fantastic district-wide project being run as an off-shoot of Action on Climate in Teignbridge (ACT) is a star example of a Devon homegrown project designed to help communities take action for wildlife. The idea is to provide willing volunteers with a broad range of skills in topics such as surveying, species identification, habitat management and the planning system. Once fully trained, volunteers will become the wildlife warden for their area by taking action to improve, protect and enhance their local area for wildlife. Explore the ACT Wildlife Wardens website to see how you can get involved or contact them directly to learn more about how to replicate a similar project in your area.
