Allotments

Although their primary objective is to grow food Devon’s allotments can provide great wildlife habitat both on plots and around the edges.  There are Great Crested Newts living in the Newton Abbot allotments and rare plants growing on others including Weasel Snout in Budleigh Salterton and Twiggy Mullein in Chagford.  We have provided a few useful links below but do share any others with us and share what you are doing on your allotments for wildlife via our discussion forum / Facebook page.
